Got nothing against that. As far as the amount of plastic and other garbage to pick up, I can't comment on that, haven't been there lately, so I have to trust my collegues in Sthlm, Sven - Torös Vänner and Ants - sthlm sub surfers.
This kinda reminds me of the strange conversation I had today with Hallands Länsstyrelsen; the woman I spoke to was almost against us cleaning Åsa and the surrounding nature preserve because she had already hired people to do it this summer! F**king absurd! I reassured her that plenty of shit will float up on shore by then! She quikly changed her position realizing how silly she sounded. she then proceeded to applaud our efforts and agreed to support. The fact of the matter is that its not necessarily our mess, but if we gather to show our commitment to making our wild places pristine and as clean as possible others will take notice and do the same - EVERY DAY! So, there may not be enough trash for 30, 50, 100 surfers and families to pick up on Sunday but you can be sure that when we leave there won't be anything at all!
