Cool thanks
Let me know if you know of any other nice stuff I shouldn't miss while in Ericeria. Favorite restaurants, hang outs etc.
Do you know if there's a lot of burglarys in rentals? If its a real problem. I have read a lot of warnings about it on international forums.

You welcome, I will get some info, afraid stealing stuff is something you should be aware, I will look in some Portuguese forums and see what they say about it.
Meanwhile I will try to translate this for you, what to do and where to go in Ericeira

Hi Peter,
Now is a small hobby but thinking going back to it, I did it full time for a while in the 90s, still with film , was natural, I was engaged in the surf community, with a camera, at the time surf was becoming popular in Portugal, reflected in several magazines looking for photos. Best advice I could give is to hang around the surf community and shot shot shot, in the beginning give some photos for free in exchange for social media exposure and upload to photo sites both general and surf related, if possible get into water to shot or get into the latest trend with a drone for aerial shots and video. If possible travel to events/beaches across Europe and get to know athletes/surfers. Photo gear is also important but don't go overboard , a good dsrl and a above 300mm fast lens with a 1.4. Teleconverter for starter. See it like a investment both time and material, any thing drop me a line.

Thank you so much! Im going on a roadtrip in my rv after summer, thinking Spain, Portugal, France, and maybe Marroco. I want to buy a camera and a waterproof case, i have a camera now but not good enough. Also used the go pro on my last trip, did a lot of swimming with the go pro and got some good shoots.
When i came home from Costa Rica and Nicaragua i got the idea that i should do this on my europetrip.
And take it to the next level with better gear. I will look into the stuff you recommended. I'll let you know what i buy.

Had a great time. What an amazing coast line along Ericeira. Will probably change my weapon of choice (longboard) for the next time. Except Riberia (and Baleal) I didn't really find any good spots for longboard (compared to how many there are in total).
