Hej,

Will do a long weekend in Biarritz and need a place to stay, close to cote de basque is best and more on the comfortable side, any tips? looks like le grand large is pretty decent, have walked past it a lot of times so know the location is perfect, would be cool if anyone knows and private apartments for rent though

Hi Chops,

We were down there two weeks ago and stayed at a really nice, family run place, called Hotel Anjou:

Nice, clean, spacious rooms located right in between Côte des Basques Beach & Grande Plage Beach. Think we payed 750 kr/day for a room with 3 beds. A little tip though, don't go for the £7 breakfast incase you don't want start your day with only a pile of bread and a liter of coffee.

Going to stay at www.villa-clara.fr in beginning of June. Got the tip from a friend who I belived had stayed there before. Close to Cavalliers. €600 for a week.

Hi, just got back from staying at Grande Large. Nice and neet, 3 star. We had two twinbeds plus childrens bunk beds (no problem for a normal sized to sleep there). There is a kitchenette and balcony, free internet etc. Got a quite OK rate at €600 for a week.
