Ett rekordstort antal deltagare har anmält sig till dagens tävling. 43 personer kommer att deltaga i Openklassen. Open kommer att köras med en första runda, sedan kvartsfinaler, semifinaler och final.

Nu kommer stormvindarna som kommer piska upp swellet på Torö lagom till dagens tävling. Hårdast kommer det att blåsa över Skåne och södra Halland. För det området har SMHI utfärdat en klass 2-varning, det vill säga fara för allmänheten och risk för stora materiella skador. Från strax norr om Gotland och söderut gäller en klass 2-varning även för Östersjön. För Västkusten, Skagerrak och Kattegatt är det klass 2-varning för högt vattenstånd. Färjeoperatören Destination Gotland beslutade på lördagen att dra in vissa turer mellan Gotland och fastlandet på grund av det hårda väder som väntas. Med vindar uppemot 22 meter i sekunden omöjliggörs angöring i Visby hamn.

We arrived in Costa Rica last week, tired and stressed at the same time. We did some running at the airport, caught the flight but realized when we landed that the baggage didn't follow.
